Top Baseball Training Facility Locations

Driveline, CSP, Tread – some baseball facilities are more prominent than others due to their social media influence or baseball conference participation. You might know of their founders, but not where they’re located across the country. The map below shows the locations of the most visible ones that I’m aware of.

I’ve broken the list down by their focus area, but most offer some combination of pitching, hitting and conditioning.

Top Pitching Focused Training Facilites

  • Texas Baseball Ranch: Located in Montgomery Texas (outside of Houston) and lead by Ron Wolforth, the Ranch is best known for its summer pitching camps
  • Florida Baseball ARMory: Led by Randy Sullivan and located Lakeland Florida (between Orlando and Tampa), the Armory is known for helping pitchers rehab, but also has hitting based on a constraints-based philosophy.
  • Tread Athletics: Run by Ben Brewster and best known for remote training of pro and college players, Tread has a facility in Pineville North Carolina (outside of Charlotte) for in-person training
  • Top Velocity: Based on Covington Louisiana with other locations across the country, Top Velocity has remote and in-person pitching training

Top Hitting Focused Training Facilities

  • 108 Performance: 108 started in California and moved to Knoxville. It holds an annual hitting and pitching conference run by Eugene Bleeker
  • The Farm System: Founded by Joey Cunha and based in Las Vegas
  • Louisville Slugger Hitting Science Center: No surprise that the center is housed in Louisville and provides bat fitting and other hitting services
  • Marucci Baseball Performance Lab: Based in Baton Rouge, the lab also does bat fitting and biometrics swing evaluations

Balanced Facilities

  • Driveline: Probably the best-known facility due to its early experimentation with high-speed camera, biometrics and science-based training, Driveline’s original center was in Kent Washington (outside of Seattle) with an additional location in Phoenix
  • Rockland Peak Performance: Less well known than many others RPP has a pitching lab and also provides conditioning and hitting training in Paramus, New Jersey (outside of NYC). It’s managed by Nunzio Signore

Top Baseball Conditioning Focused Facility

  • Cressey Sports Performance: Eric Cressey changed baseball strength training by helping players understand the rotational power needs of the sport. It has locations in Palm Beach and Hudson Massachusetts (west of Boston) with the Palm Beach one being an offseason destination for many pro players and especially pitchers

Biomechanics reach centers (not shown on the map)

  • American Sports Management Institute: ASMI is Dr. Andrew’s facility for pitching biomechanics. It has one of the most advanced labs in the country and is located in Birmingham
  • TMI Sports Motion Analysis: Located in Dallas, it’s hope to the biomechanics lab for the rangers.
  • Auburn Sport Biomechanics Lab: More of an overall research lab than baseball specific, it still may provide services
  • Wake Forest Pitching Lab: Well known as one of the top pitching centers in the country, the lab is open to players of all ages. Wake also hosts the annual Bridge Seminar, which is focused on baseball biomechanics and similar topics

Many of the best baseball podcasts are from these facilities. Spend some time listening to help you find the best fit. If you liked this map, check out other baseball maps too. Also, there aren’t specific infield training facilities, so consider a Trosky camp.
